New Enterprise Allowance Scheme
Being Your Own Boss is now helping entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground through the NEW ENTERPRISE ALLOWANCE SCHEME funded through the Job Centre.
The scheme provides financial support and guidance to unemployed people looking to start their own business.

I decided to set up on my own after leaving my last job. An advisor at the job centre referred me to the NEA and enrolled me on the ‘Being Your Own Boss’ courses. This course was invaluable for helping me start up and gave me the knowledge and confidence to know how to implement it.
I was nervous for the first few weeks and didn’t get any clients. I attending networking events and concentrated on social media. Then in my third week I received 5 clients, things have just got better and better since then and my confidence has grown.
